Fundamentals of Hand Tools

This course is an introduction to basic hand tools used in traditional woodworking. Each student will learn the basics of using hand saws, planes, chisels, and layout tools; and apply these skills by making their very own slide top box. We will also discus the basics of sharpening edged tools such as planes and chisels used in the class and the basics of furniture construction.

The course will be taught by local master woodworker Aaron Lane (www.lanewoodworking.com).

Cancellation policy Please remember to cancel if you are unable to attend.
For full refunds to your card, please give notice one week prior to the start of class. For cancellations within one week prior to the start of class, refunds will be made as an account credit. In the event of a no-call-no-show, we are unable to make a refund.

Due to the specific preparation needs of this class, enrollment will be closed one week before the start of class. In the event that the class does not meet the minimum enrollment, we will notify you at that time (one week prior) and you'll be refunded in full.
